PNS PASSENGER PICKUP
Where to meet your driver at the airport
Pensacola International Airport requires rideshare and TNC passenger pickups to take place at the designated TNC / Rideshare Loading Area.

After collecting your luggage, exit the terminal through any public airport exit.

Carefully cross the first roadway to the covered center traffic island where the traffic lanes divide.

Turn and walk toward the beginning of the covered traffic island.

Continue toward the area with the three flagpoles.

Look overhead for the sign marked “TNC / Rideshare.”

You should also see an “Uber / Lyft” sign attached to one of the flagpoles.

Wait in that designated area and remain available by phone or text so your Freedom Route driver can coordinate the final pickup.
Important
Airport traffic patterns, signs, and designated loading areas can change. Always follow current airport signage and instructions from authorized airport personnel.The area near the three flagpoles is the designated location where TNC / rideshare drivers are permitted to collect passengers. Your driver cannot stop for pickup at an ordinary terminal exit or undesignated curb.

Airport ride expectations
How far in advance should I reserve?
Online reservations require at least six hours’ notice. If you need transportation sooner, call or text (850) 454-8142 before booking. When scheduling permits, the six-hour requirement may be waived for an additional short-notice fee.
How is the fare calculated?
Your estimate uses the driving route and current Freedom Route pricing rules. Applicable after-hours, urgent-request, scheduled-stop, multiple-vehicle, and estimated toll charges are shown before confirmation.
When is payment requested?
For standard Airport Transportation, your driver normally sends a secure Square payment link after pickup. The link can be delivered by email and, with SMS consent, text message. Optional tipping is available during checkout.
Can I schedule a return ride?
Yes. You can add the return ride during booking and choose whether eligible rides should be billed together or separately.
Does Freedom Route provide terminal escort service?
Your driver remains with the vehicle. Luggage assistance is provided at the vehicle, but terminal escort service is not included.
